History Function in Office 2016 I'm trying to use the history function in Word 2016 and I'm not finding it under file/history as described on the 'what's new in Office 2016' web page. I made several changes to a document to try and 'force' a history. I have just got Office 365 for my Mac and it is listing recent files in Word, Excel and Powerpoint. There appears to be no option to remove this under Preferences on any of the programs.
When you are ready, go to this location and move to the trash the MicrosoftRegistrationDB.reg file that is located there. Yes, in 2017, IKR: Amusing, isn't it, that Office 2011 could to this and Office 2016 can't even after it has been released for more than an year and a half: Sending feedback doesn't do ****. Microsoft does not care about their customers. How hard can it be to implement this feature! Never have I see any other program that creates/modifies/previews files that does not have this functionality. Honestly, Microsoft, I have a permanent license for Office 2011 and only got Office 365 because I wanted the refreshed look and to support the development of the suite, also hoping that you will at some point (however unlikely) integrate some of the many features only available on Windows at the moment.
